With it in the drive, right click the start button on your task bar, and pick "Explore", you should then get a file list which includes d: as a drive (This is the norm for a cd drive, if not it could be e:).
Double left click the d:, and it should show you all the files that are on it.

Insert the cd into the drive and click on my computer
right click on the cd to open it
click on the back up system files
if this was backed up with windows then it will open automatically in windows but, if it was copied from a folder, it can be viewed easily by clicking on the documents in the folder.

Right click on "start" then choose "explore". That will open your Windows Explore files. Be sure you put the cd in the drive and then look for that drive near top of files. Click on it and it will show you what is in there.

Good Luck

Insert the CD into its drive. Normally you should get a pop up box to ask you which program you want to open this CD with, try explorer. However if you dont get the pop up box when you insert your CD. Then click start, click my computer, then double click your CD drive which is normally D drive then you will see what is stored there. Just double click on any file to open it. good luck.
