Yes, try KeePass Password Safe. KeePass is an open-source password manager (http://keepass.sourceforge.net/). KeePass can generate passwords for you or you can create one yourself and have KeePass rate the quality of your password. Download and install the program then create a new password list. Enter the password you want to use in to the password box. Directly below this box is a password quality bar. The longer the quality bar is the better the password. Next to the bar, KeePass also displays the password bit encryption. As a frame of reference, online banks websites use 128-bit encryption. Try to aim your password to be 128 bit.

As a rule, passwords should meet 4 requirements:
1. A password with more than 8 characters.
2. Include upper and lower case letters
3. Include special characters #%&
4. Include numbers

If someone else has the password, they won't let you use it.

Are you really sure that you want to go to a free site and trust them with your passwords?

The best passwords mix numbers with letters and often change from upper case to lower case

The best password is one that has letters and numbers and no less than 6 characters long. Even better if the letters are BOTH higher and lowercase. It is a pain in the *ss, but you'll be a lot safer.

You could go to the stadium on Super Bowl Sunday---at half time stand on the middle of the playing field and ask the crowd to guess your password---unless the Vulcans beam in no one would even come close!
