CD-R's don't have this ability. If you were using a CD-RW then there are a number of applications which can erase the disk so that it can be burned over and over again.

Unless the CD-R disk has been finalized you should be able to continue to write to the CD and your program (NERO) should be able to analyze the CD and sense the amount of space left on it. If though, as some programs do, your NERO is configured to finalize the CD upon writing to it then forget it because it's a done deal and you can't write anything else to it or overwrite it. Exception is if the CD is a CD-RW then you can erase and rewrite on the CD. Good Luck

You cannot write over a CD-R disc. You can only rewrite over a CD-RW disc. CD-R is permanent..

A CD-R is not rewriteable.You need a CD-RW to do that.
