Hi,
For a long time, Serif (www.freeserifsoftware.com)has been giving away earlier versions of their software to encourage users to purchase the current version. Currently you can download a completely free, fully-functional version of PhotoPlus 6. PhotoPlus 6 works on Windows 95, 98, 98 SE, 2000, NT4, and XP.

Also you may wat to look at Paint.net a free image and photo editing software for Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or Server 2003.

All the best

Mike

I use the HP software that is a free download from the Hewlett Packard web site. But I will try Picassa that others have mentioned, it sounds great.

I'd go with picassa, like everyone else said. It's great, easy to use and it even lets you easily upload to websites like Snapfish, Shutterfly, etc. so you can order your prints after you fix them.
