My computer was never with word on it; it did have Notepad or something like that. But, now that's not even working...Is there some way I can down load MicroSoft Word (98) for free? I only want to use it, or anything for writing letters and what not. HELP please!!!

Any advice?!?!

If you only need a word-processing program to write letters, you don't need to get Microsoft Word, because you have to pay for that to have it legally.

However there are other programs you can use to do the same purpose.
A quick yahoo! search for 'free word processor' got me these 3 links:

http://www.jarte.com/

I've never used Jarte, but Open Office and Abiword will do what you want.

Since you have internet access already, forget about downloading MS Word. Use ThinkFree Office on the internet for free, without having to install anything on your computer.
