become an online friend, since it was like a support group where we had been messaging each other. The website just wants to rub in the fact that they tell people not to do that, but that's not what I need. What can I do about this? I expect this woman is trying to get all my personal info, not to mention running up my long distance. I really need some helpful answers.

The problem folks is that my securitycenter reports that it is monitioring about ten different anti-virus/firewall programs how can I get it monitor only the one that I want. And I can't find any of the programs that it is monitoring looked in add/remove, program/system files. I tried to delete the registry keys for these programs that I don't want but they just come back as sone as I close the registry editor.

I would like to delete my info like my ssn and other job application type things---I don't have anything bad on there, but I used it to apply for jobs and do resumes and I just don't like my personal information on it when I return it.

My NIS 2006 is up for renewal in a few months. I've read a few reports that NIS 2007 isn't as good as it doesn't have a couple of the security things. I'm very happy with NIS 2006 as I've not had a single thing affect my PC. My philosophy is 'if it's not broke don't fix it'. I'm thinking of renewing it online through the software itself.

Any input from you folks who have experience with both 2006 & 2007 would be great.

Thanks

She just found it and had it removed, but he's been spying on very very personal convo's between us (info that could ruin her). I know it's illegal, but what actions can be taken, or what can she tell him to scare him (legal jargon, etc). When confronted, he said "offices do it". But we all know companies can have legal rights to company emails, etc, and he knows better than to give such a lame excuse. Anyway to prove it was him or what kind of burden of proof is necessary?

In the past 4 months I have had multiple inbound threats.I know that I can call police and report incidents but I would prefer to do it alone.I have a friend who works(self employed)with computers that are more complex than my own.He tells me that it can be done with his computers but he doubts that it can be done with my own.Is this true?

I was chatting online and this guy knew some personal info. about me and there is no way he could've known. Could my weirdo neighbor be hacking onto my computer? Should I contact the police? Can they tell if he has? The problem is that I've written some fairly perverted stuff and I don't want the whole world to know!

I did a search for free anti virus, and saw many sites offering this, but I know there must be a catch. Does anyone know a site with minimum strings attached. I noticed Google had one, but they have a lot of stuff attached that I dont really want or need, and would only be taking up space.
Thanks, Wayne
