Can I ask how much you value your job? I almost lost a job several years ago for spending too much time on the internet...I went to vacation one week, came back the next and got called into the Lizard Queen's office (trust me, the woman looked like a lizard) and was shown a printout of every website I visited, when and for how long each site to prove how much time I was online. I lost all internet 'privileges' after that. Myspace isn't worth a lost job.

If the URL block was done at the Server level, you will need to ask your IT to unblock it for you.

Try using a proxy that does not have the word proxy in the name.
