when I use the inernet alot of pages start to pop up and if I close them new ones come up.

I live just borderline on a hotspot, I've tried multiple purchased antennas, as well as many home made ones out of cans, bowls, parabolic reflectors, etc. Right now the very best I've found is putting a usb dongle inside of a soup can, (homemade cantenna) but even that is just not reliable.

What is the best high power directional antenna I can buy for $50-$100? Possibly there may be one out there that is so strong that it just barely complies with fcc regulations?

I have Pc cillin on my computer and there is a protected information block that I have set up to prevent this sort of action, however twice today a window has popped up to inform me that a website which has yahoo in the long name of the site, is asking for my credit card number.

Pc cillin states it has blocked it yet when I go into the anti fraud settings and look at the event log, it says they have been marked as safe?????
Please help me I am worried as We thought we may have a hacker and yet we have tried every possible way to get rid, but our computer is not functioning properly. It keeps freezing and also another user account misteriously appeared under the name ASP.machine.net????
Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of this problem, I have done virus scans and also used pc cillin house call and all that comes up is cookies which I keep deleting. Please can any one offer advice on this and also how to get our computer back to a good working state. Thankyou

There's this executable file in my pc. I don't know how it got there, maybe from someone's removable hard disk or smthing. Point is, it won't go away. First I tried deleting. Worked. For a few seconds. When I closed the window, and re-opened, there it was like nothing ever happened. Fine.

Then I tried reformatting the partition that it came in. Yup, the whole damm partition. Worked. Again, for a few seconds. It just came back stronger than ever (so i'd think, LOL)

Then I tried deleting it in my registry editor.
I found it in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
with 2 .exe files of the same name, one in my System32, the other in my local pc System32.
The same thing happened, I deleted em, and nothing happens.

So it's a worm, right?
Now how the F can I get rid of it? Any ideas?

In Internet advertising targetin users on the data they enter through subscription is a huge bonus - If a user deletes their cookies does this mean that they can't be targeted by such messages anymore ?

specially in yahoo messenger some on tell the detail of what others are chatting about, how can they see other's chat window? even if we change to a new id, the other person sees it even without adding them to our buddy list..!! is it a spy? if so will they be able to open the email aswell?how can we prevent it? how can we secure it?
