script errors saying things like ''objectexpected'';0

This is not your normal script error that you have. Even if you are running SunJava, script or Microsoft script.
Would suggest you run Microsoft critical updates, just to make sure you have all their critical updates. (Should be around 75 of them). If you are already upto date, then you should scan your pc with your existing antivirus or an antispyware.
If you have no antispyware installed, here are two free excellent ones I use. http://www.superantispyware.com Download their free version. This scanner will usually find what all other miss. Also download from Austria, A2Squared Malware their free version. http://www.emsisoft.com This scanner will protect you against rouge dialers, keyloggers, malware, and trace spyware.
I use a paid antivirus program from Beijing, China. One time fee of $29.99 for life, that includes all updates and new versions as they come out. http://www.filseclab.com
If you don't wish to pay, use your search engine for AOL, free antivirus shield, with Karpersky engine from Russia. (I don't have the link handy to give to you.
