I have 5 computers i want to protect from bad junk out there but don't want to pay 500 dollars to secure them and body know a cheaper better way

Does anyone no some sort of overide or some kind of master password so that I can connect to the internet, the network key is to keep unknown person/s from connecting to the wireless internet connection. How can I still connect there must be a way ???

On behalf of a neighbor whos just bought a new Comp. She was given a 3 month sub. to Norton. At the same time as purchase she bought the complete Norton Security Suite. Should she delete the freebie before she installs the new one, and is this going to prove a problem or can she do it through add/remove.

I have a broadband connection. Can certain people tell which accounts on here are mine because of my ISP?? like yaho staff members? Because i'm wondering if that's how all my accounts keep getting deleted. Can they tell if one person has more than one account that way?

It installs a desktop icon, and a whole program, plagues you with popups charging you for the 'sex passport' that you knew nothing about and then gradually takes over and when you think your usual McAfee or whatever protection has removed it... it hasn't ... and it comes back!!!!

I can access the web sites no problem but other people I know are having difficulties. I think it has to do with the settings on their router/firewalls, but I'm not sure. Did anyone else have this problem and find a solution?

i want a software that provides a LOCK for specific folder...through which i jus mark that folder and set a password and then whenever i double click that folder it jus demandz for the password
Note: Software should be free, it should take low memory, it should be as given not like that in which we hav to lock and unlock folders.....

hi, good day to all..

i am using windows xp sp2 on my internet cafe, i have 30 units.. my problem is, there is this "01.file" that is building up in almost every shared folder on my network.. this file ranging from, smallest 3 mb file to 2G, i am wondering where this come from, i tried opening it to different programs but to no avail.

i once opened a 3mb file to a notepad and it shows only huge amount spaces and a "hello world" word in the end..

at first i thought it was downloaded by clients but i realized that a 2G file cannot be downloaded in any of my client pc in a day because their bandwidth is limited and no client last that long online..

can u please help me with this one thanks

I was blogging when I suddenly saw this small icon on my taskbar telling System alert-- Ur system is infected with lot of spyware and its telling me to download a spyware s/w called spyware lock or something. I tried cleaning it up with Adaware and spyware doctor but it isnt going.. Anyone please help..............................
