Some I know are mac and linux.....
I got a virus in windows now. I am trying to remove it.....Any good antivirus? please name it for me.

You were probably not compromised you more than likely saved it to your machine.

http://www.avast.com is the best antivirus home version is free.

But I personally do not have any experience dealing with it but that would be the OS of choice if I actually knew how to use it.

Goto TrendMicro, they offer a free online virus scan and removal.

You weren't hacked. You got a virus. Probably from a website. Use FireFox browser.

Mac is probably the most likely not to get a virus, since not very many people use a mac and people who make virii don't care about Mac users.

Well, actually. Nobody really cares about Mac Users. That's why there aren't any good programs for them.

You probably wouldnt want the ones Id name. In order Id say...
VAX
BeOS
OS/2
Unix

then into ones you probably know such as linux, windows, mac. There are hundreds of operating systems. Stick with the fun ones.

If you need good security for your PC follow these tips

1.if you need a virus scanner use active virus shield from kaspersky lab
2.use a good firewall like zone alarm free
3.if you use IE you might be unsafe! use a new browser like firefox:)
4.excellent anti-spyware=spybot

Update these regularly it secures your PC!

you could reformat your PC into mac OS its probably less prone to viruses but make sure you upgrade your PC so it will work properly
