I am not able to see my desktop theme. All I see is a black back round laying on top of my desktop theme and in a square it says,
WARNING! YOU'RE IN DANGER!
ALL YOU DO WITH COMPUTER IS STORED FOREVER IN YOUR HARD DISK. WHEN YOU VISIT SITES, SEND EMAILS... ALL YOUR ACTIONS ARE LOGGED. AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE THEM WITH STANDARD TOOLS. YOUR DATA IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR FORENSICS. AND IN SOME CASES FOR YOUR BOSS, YOUR FRIENDS, YOUR WIFE, YOUR CHILDREN. Every site you or somebody or even something, like spyware, opened in your browser, with all images, and all downloaded and maybe later removed movies or mp3 songs - ARE STILL THERE and could broke your life! SECURE YOURSELF RIGHT NOW!
I know it's a virus but how can I get rid of this right now or am I going to need to purchase some type of spy ware cd, etc.
Plus I continue to receive many, many pop ups. I downloaded Firefox but was unsuccessful at deleting Explorer. Wasn't able to locate it in the add/delete programs MY Computer

Every time I try to open Internet Explorer, it gives me an illegal operation error. I have ran AdAware, Spybot, and Kaspersky and none of them have found anything.

It does boot in safe mode (add-ons disabled) however, but I'm certain I don't have any add-ons. Firefox works as well.

I just downloaded Webroot Spysweeper to see if that will help.

While that downloads, has anyone ever run into this before? What can I do to fix it?

So I got a new computer for Christmas. It's an HP, and it's really up-to-date. I have used it for games, projects, documents, etc. The computer I'm using now is my old computer. The point is, I need advice. Should I put the internet on my new computer and greater the chances of catching spyware, viruses, etc? Or, should I keep it with games and other stuff?

I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser. How do I ensure all confidential info I may enter on that site is ecrypted i.e.e-mail addresses and the like. I just tried to enter some moderate info on a site and it gave me a warning it could be viewed by a third party. Thanx
