As long as you can get it connected up I think the software may be solved by trying one of the links.

you dont need software to transfer pictures all you need is to plug it in as windows is plug and play which means
itis a capability developed by Microsoft for its Windows 95 and later operating systems that gives users the ability to plug a device into a computer and have the computer recognize that the device is there. The user doesn't have to tell the computer. In many earlier computer systems, the user was required to explicitly tell the operating system when a new device had been added. Microsoft made Plug and Play a selling point for its Windows operating systems. A similar capability had long been built into Macintosh computers
hope this helps

You should have had a disc with the camera. If not, either try the camera manufacturer's website or use Windows' built-in Camera and Scanner (or is it Scanner and Camera?) Wizard.

If you Win XP then the software is already there. Plug in your usb cable or memory card and it should recognize it and ask what you want to do.
