I spent hours searching everywhere that I could think of (mostly on the Microsoft website or their links) to search but still unsuccessful at finding a solution. Windows Defender has detected 2 Adware threats on 3 scans, states they are a MEDIUM threat level and they were supposedly removed each time but are STILL there!

They are
Adware:Win32/ZangoSearchAssistant
and
Adware:Win32/WhenU.SaveNow.

How do I get rid of them?

yes I have seen several posts warning people that
this email address is a hacker
I believe its a hoax but checking snopes/urban legends,
and others I can not find any proof of this posting
this is one of the posts I have received
like this
THIS WAS SENT TO ME: If somebody called: bum_tn007@hotmail.co m adds you don't accept it because its a hacker. Tell every one on your list because if ...

or

If somebody called bum_tn007@hotmail.com adds you as a friend dont accept it because he is a hacker. Tell every one on your list because if somebody on your list adds them you get them on your list. He will have access to your IP computer address. So copy & paste this message to every one.

why I believe this is a hoax because it tells you forward
to everyone
can anyone verify if this is a hoax or is it really true?
thanks for any assitance

My Internet provider disconnected my service for excessive bandwidth usage, and because I only use my computer for normal tasks such as e-mail, and don't have wireless or excessive downloads, they suspect I might have a trojan. They have reconnected my service after I talked to them, but I need to find a good program to detect trojans because my Trend Micro isn't picking up anything. I tried Sana Security and nothing yet. Any suggestions or any other ideas on what could be causing my problem?

Someone stole my email password. Is there anyway to figure out who did it?
They did not change any account info- except the password. I have changed my security question to a false answer only I know, but should I just scrap this account and make a new one?

I'm not sure, but I think it is. I have a little bubble on the bottom start bar that keeps saying I have spyware, but when I click on it, it just brings me to a bunch of spyware scanners, whcih when I try to download, are blocked by my Norton Antivirus. I also now have popups saying I have spyware, and a toolbar that won't go away (Which both do the same damn thing as the bubble) I ran Norton QuickScan and it says I don't have anything wrong. What can I do to get rid of these annoyances?

I am donating my old computers, and I want to erase EVERY TRACE of personal information, and all data, from my computers, with no possibility of recovery by those data recovery programs. I have been trying to find a good program to do this, but it seems like they all cost lots of money or aren't good enough.
