AVG is a pretty good one and it's free

Norton internet security from symantec is currently offering a free beta download of it's newest software, norton 360. This is a very good deal because it combines all of norton's software (over $100+) in one program and is free. But it won't be available for download for free much longer.

I recommend active virus shield. It is by far the best free antivirus you can get.

AVG is great, suggest you use it with Provac 1, which is an ani spyware/popup blocker. AVG has picked up things that Nortons and McAfee havent, they update every morning automatically.

I tried AVG and gave up. The updates are way too large.

I stick with AVAST because it's inobtrusive.

Also get everything microsoft offers for free too, like windows defender, firewall etc.
