I've several old files encrypted with Handybits Easycrypto. Unfortnately, I've forgotten the password! I

have emailed handybits for help but they advised there is no way to retrieve the password or decrypt it without the password. I understand why they won't help even if there is a way.

Hopefully, someone out there will be able to help.

Many thanks!

Do you have to have lots of PC gear and money? Or only good code skill? A IT source told me that if you can write you can do anything you want. Is this true?

What is the simplest, most effective way to immunize my computer against a DataMiner? My browser is Mozilla Firefox. I have Filterset G plus a lot of added blocks, AdBlock Plus, PC Tools Firewall Plus, AVG, Spybot, AdAware, Spyware Blaster, and PC Tools Guardian installed. I update, clean, and scan often, but every time I run AdAware, it catches the same cookie: my first initial and last name @revsci.net (even though I have that domain set to block). It is annoying. Short of getting my own IP address or going to safemode and trying to delete files (many of which I am uncertain about their application necessity), what can I do to get rid of this cookie? Any suggestions on free blocking software or manual steps to take? Thanks.

Hello,

I'm a Linux newbie crossing over from the Windows world. I just set up a server with SUSE Linux 10.2, SQUID 2.6? (the newest), and DansGuardian for filtering. I'm trying to setup a second NIC for use with the DHCP Server which I've installed under YaST. The second NIC connects to a wireless AP which will assign IPs to various laptops which must be filtered. The laptops are getting an IP address, and can browse the web if I turn on 'masquerading' at the SUSE firewall. However, they are not filtered. I would like all web requests to forward to port 8080 of Dansguardian, but don't know how. I figured it should be in the 'masquerading' section of the SUSE firewall, but I can't get it to work. If I put in 10.0.0.150 - port 8080 under the proxy settings on the client, then browsing is filtered. So, everything is in place, but I don't want to enter the proxy settings and still have it filtered. In other words, all requests should forward to 8080.

Thanks for any help....

I need to renew my norton subscription but whenever I hit renew AOL automatically opens up. When I open it, it says that the file is to big for AOL and I need to use another program to open it. How do I choose another program and why exactly does AOL keep opening? Is there anyway to stop this?

I just had to reformat my computer. I can't find how to reinstal Norton on their web site. I shouldn't have to pay for a renewal when I still have subscription time for a legitimate product.

Do most cracks and keygens contain some kind of trojan or virus? I've been doing some research (yes I know they are illegal) and found that some antivirus programs will consider them as such and some wont. Why is that?

Is there anyone developing or trying to develop an OS to rival Microsoft? I'm starting to get paranoid about MS being the far removed leader of OS software. I don't want to sound like a conspiracy nut, but if there WERE some kind of desire to track and watch many, many Americans by some agency or group, wouldn't Microsofts Vista be the perfect tool, with its top secret op code and selectively secure kernel? And on top of that, their ever increasing control on whos 3rd party software can work on their newer OS is bordering on communism. Is now not the time, the WINDOW of opportunity for another developer to release a competitive and open-source OS on a national scale and sweep the market right out from under Mr. Gates feet?

p.s. Please respond to entire paragraph, if possible.
