Okay, I created a Windows Live account (big mistake so far) and now I can't access my hotmail. I can bring up messenger but I can't get into my mail. The page will eventually time out and give me "problem loading page" with the following details:
The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I have the same problem with explorer 7 so I tried Firefox but had the same results.

The other odd thing here, is that I can no longer access microsoft pages, windows support or other related supports. I can sign into Windows Live but I cannot use the contacts.

Any suggestions?

I keep reading reviews about PC Cillin Internet Security 2007, and people seem to either love the new edition or absolutely hate it. I'm not very computer savvy and I'm very worried about updating my computer. If something goes wrong I'm on my own and I would prefer not to raise my stress level 40 points. I have the 2006 version and it works well enough that I was considering updating to the 2007 version. Has anyone used the 2007 version and if so what did you think, also, is there anyway for me to keep my 2006 version and just pay to have it keep updating itself for another year. I believe Norton lets its users do something of that nature but I'm not sure about Cillin. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

My daughter's PC is very old and we don't want to install a lot of "Cyber Nanny" software. I got this for free when I signed up with road runner but I still think that I have crap lurking around on my computer. Do you think that this product is just crap and it's not catching things that other products out there would catch? This product I think normally sells for about 70.00 but if I can get one for free that will work better then I'll do it.

How would you disable a tracking program on your computer that tracks everything you do on there? It's called pctattletale. If you know anything about it, that would be great! My spysweeper caught it and I think I know what it is, I just need your help. My loved one put it on for me and I hate that somebody's controlling me.
