Not really. The only free security-related things it provides are:

1) The e-mails received in your Yahoo! Mail account are scanned for malware with Norton AntiVirus. Note that this happens on Yahoo's mail server - not on your computer.

2) The e-mails received in your Yahoo! Mail are checked for spam. If they are found to be spam (this is not 100% reliable), they are put in a special "Bulk" folder. This is optional - i.e., the user can turn it on and off.

3) Yahoo (the site) offers you a toolbar for the popular browsers (IE and Firefox), which (among other things) has the capability to detect phishing sites and to block unwanted pop-ups.
