i'm afraid it's not about blocking a pop-ups, you have some program installed on your computer which shows those pop-ups to you. you need to run an antispyware and delete everything found on a scan. try Spybot Search and Destroy, it's free and pretty good. download here: http://www.2-spyware.com/review-spybot-search-and-destroy.html

If you find out what the program is then it becomes easier. It's most likely a piece of adware, something that shows you ads so the distributor can make money. You should get the free Spyware Doctor (www.pctools.com). It tells you what it is. Then, you need other stuff to get it off. And it shouldn't be a warning popup.

If you use Yahoo Mail, click on the pop-up blocker button on the Yahoo toolbar and click "enable pop-up blocker." I think it works pretty well.
