some say webcam can be hacked, some said impossible, i dnt know whats the truth, yahoo customerservice said its imposssible, some sadi otmeal.com is real and cambuster, i dnt know waht is true. and as far as i know many couple do sex on webcam expecially if they are overseas

Now how do I remove the items after the scan is finished that it identified as a threat? i had it previously installed and got a trojan yesterday. Today it doesn't recognize as aware is installed so i reinstalled and updated it and a full scan is running now. So what do I do when the scan is complete? I've never got a virus before. There is currently 6 items identifies as a threat.

Hi!
1. I read on many forums that there are viruses that can hide on MBR and survive from the format. The only thing to do is create a Win98 startup disk and use the fdisk utility. Is this correct?
2. And also, I am afraid that the virus will spread to my flash disk and memory stick. Is a mbr exist on those media? If yes, can I use the FDISK to resolve the problem as well? So long, I scanned them using NAV on my campus and no virus found.

When I try to view my buddy's webcam, I get a message saying that I can't because I'm behind a firewall. After disabling it in my security center, I still get the same message. Are there other firewalls in messenger? If so, how do I get around it?

I'm not sure what happened but for some reason my NIS product won't load correctly (just square box with nothing in the middle) and I'm unable to reconfigure the security settings that also got all screwed up. After investigating and reading from several sources, I believe the best thing would be for me to uninstall and put something else on my PC. I've had enough of Norton!!!!

Can anyone tell me how to uninstall this product without my password? Or either is there a way to find out what the password has been changed to? The password is the same one that I have used for over a year. I don't know why it won't accept it. I just want things back to normal. Also, I've tried all of their so called "fixes". NOTHING!! HELP!!!!!!

Any free antivirus software out there? If so, where and thanks!

How do you reload Norton's Antivirus if a virus has diabled all functions associated with it? If I uninstall, then I will lose Norton because my system will no longer recognize commands or links associated with the program. I cannot update, my scan is worthless. Is there a way to scan the system without booting the computer?

Our computer hasn't closed since about 2 weeks, then suddenly the power went off, and it closed. When I turned it on, I couldn't remember the password. If you use a password recovery system that requires email, can you have someone elses password sent to YOUR address? As in reroute the info to your address? I'm pretty sure someone did this to me, I know who it was, and I want to get back at the :censored: whodunit.

For awhile there's been this virus in my computer. I've removed it but the computer is still messed up because of it. But today I got a phone call that there was suspicious activity on a credit card, and then an e-mail from pay pal that said someone was trying to hack into it and that it was shut down. Could they all be tied together?

recently when I open my IE, it displays www.assureprotection.com instead of my yahoo.com homepage, when i go to internet options, the homepage setting is to yahoo.com, but yahoo.com doesn't appear when I run IE, any advice?

I have been stalked by a person both on yahoo 360* page and on Yahoo answers. His / her main purpose seems to be... to get on my friends' list. He / she has 2 accounts with which he has been posting questions about me, answering questions with details related to me, he has been watching my every move on my 360* page, posting strange messages, asking me to get on IM with him / her, asking me to accept him / her on my friends list. I have reported him many times for harassment, my friends did that too, it's been almost a week but yahoo hasn't deleted any of his accounts (he has 2 accounts, both stalking me)! Also, I have written another letter to yahoo staff last night, but nothing happened! I fear he is a hacker... can he harm me through my yahoo 360* page?
