Help, I have tried every set of insructions found.

I got this nasty virus once that hijacked my homepage and deleted my favorites and replaced them with porn websites, also I got tons of spam..I went to the Lavasoft forums and they helped me get rid of it. I'm sure they can help you, you just have to wait for someone to get back to you. Someone will give you all the steps to get rid of it. Here's the link:

Many programs, like the mentioned AVG and Spybot Search and Destroy as well as Webroot's SpySweeper can help remove the files. However, it is a good idea to put every file- and I mean EVERY FILE- on a portable flash drive and reformat your computer ( you may need multiple drives for this). This will DELETE all unbacked -up files, but it will also eliminate the Trojan. Good luck.

Scan the PC with standard antivirus software. If you do not have one, I can give a few links that offer free virus and spy ware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

How up to date is your Antivirus download the latest update and try again if that fails try downloading a program called Spybot Search N Destroy from link below do a complete update then run a complete scan.

Sometimes you may have to just delete the file that it's affected. Hoping it's not a system file. Run and rerun your virus software or download the free AVG anti-virus and run that too. It may just have to be quarantined, trojans suck like that, tough buggers to get rid of. Do it soon, ASAP.
