When the scan completes i get a window that pops up and says 'Security Center has detected active threats on your computer and your current security software is unable to delete or quarantine these. And it gives me a popup and wants me to download another software. Is this safe or normal? Or is it the trojan?

It is always best to quarantine items when allowed, just in case AdAware should detect something that your system should need. Then it can be replaced. This is very rare but it does happen.

You can however delete all tracking cookies that AdAware finds. Cookies are just harmless text files.

Good luck and happy scanning.

More infomation and another free removal tool called RogueFix can be found here:

Most "All-Purpose" malware apps such as AVG, Norton, Spybot and AdAware etc unforturnayly can not remove this vile pest called Smitfraud.

Sounds like a Zlob trojan.

Good luck.

hey dude, you are victim of "Anti Vermins". This malware generates message that your computer is infected and go to www.anitvermins.com to download the removal tool. But this is a trap. Only one software removes the malware plus the messages. And that is "Spy No More".
Spy Doctor removes the malware but doesn't remove the messages.

When it's done scanning, check the boxes and press the next button, then quarintine or delete them.
