bit torrent download?

why is it every time I bring the program bit torrent up, my norton antivirus goes crazy and pops up every 20 seconds saying a worm is trying to get into my computer?

Turn off the worm detection. It's a known false positive.

Reason is that Bit Torrent opens a port to make the download much faster. But the Norton thinks that the port is opened to download virus.

yes its a problem using p2p with NORTON better close ur NORTON for a while when u r Downloading or just as ur NORTON ignore the program
