ok well when you give the sites out your credit card number. Will you get scammed or something like if you shop at a clothing website, or a wal-mart website is anything bad going to happen to you?

I am trying to set up nintendo wifi on my DS but when i do it i need to have a WEP Key, i know that is for the router but on the computer how do we find our WEP Key/Security Code?

The usual, free download onetime scan programs, do not locate/solve the problem. Scanning the replies to a similar question in several User Forums did not result in specific or useful information. I have not located any reference to any commercial program(paid) that positively states a solution can be provided. In my computer, "lexplore" usually manifests its self by not allowing access to e-mail sites ( G-mail/Juno/Yahoo/etc) and is displayed after alt/ctrl/del. A Symantec test indicated W/32 Bropia not found. I run the Ad-aware/ Avg/ Spybot/ Avast/ Spywareblaster programs.

I am completely technology illiterate and I don't know the difference between firewall protection and antivirus protection and spyware protection and whatever other type of protection there is out there! If you would please explain the diferences to me and tell me the ones that I should have on my computer. Also, the security program I have on my computer is fixing to expire so if there are any good security programs I can download for free that would be greatly appreciated as well!

I have just installed Norton Internet Security 2007 on my computer and I now cannot download from Limewire !! Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to do this please as I am not brilliant with computers and I just can't seem to work it out for myself !!

Hi, for about a week, i got msmgr trogan 2 out of no where. I havent been using the net, or anything involved with the net around the past month, but somehow, i have obtained it. In order to delete this virus, i tried the free trial version of norton 2007 full version, but it has yielded no result as my AVG virus detector continuasly reports the occurance of msmgr trojan 2. I need help deleting this virus as soon as possible, as i do not wish to loss any precious date. Also, during the last 2 days, when i listen to music with my Media player 11 to a specific music, my computer freezes and goes to a blue screen, warning and asking me if this is the first time that had occurred. Also, at the bottom, it states msmgr something something something. After my third attempt at listening to music, i decided to quit, and i ran a virus scan over all my music it case it was corrupted, and i found that they were not corrupt. Help me found a solution to rid of the trojan2, and msmgr, please.

I want to change the password policy for a computer, but this computer as in a network so the policy has been set-up by the server; I have full Local access as the administrator, but it won’t allow me to change the settings in the Password policy tab.

I put it in the cd drive and an popup says that TrueVector cannot log on and to use the service manager to shut down the TrueVector and restart the installer program. Anybody had something like this before. Any answers will definetly be appreciated.

Has anyone heard of Cyberhawk security?
Some questions:

there is a free version so i was wondering

1. is it safe?
2. does it hog memory/ computer resources?
3. are there any detection rates/ is it better than avira or avast?
4. it seems good to me becasue it has spyware and virus protection in one program and is free plus i dont get it. it has malware detection for free version but no removal. what is difference between malware and spyware?
5. what are the rootkit scanner thing that free version does nto have?

i have removed the norton anti virus and firewall from the add/remove program list.There is also a liveupdate2.5 symantec and a norton securtiy center in the add/remove program list. I need to know if it is ok to remove both things, and in the regedit if it is ok to remove all the norton/symantec things. And if there is any place else that it might still be please let me know. Thanks

I've been a big fan of Securecast and also McAfee Internet securities...but they are getting too expensive anymore and also their damn softwares take up sooo much of your hard drive and the background programs they run sometimes ties up your memory. I'm asking to find out if there is any other softwares out that is just as good and free to protect from viruses and hackers...I have windows defender (was pre-installed), but I'm not sure what that program does other than removes PUPs or malicious softwares, but does that also include protection from malware, spyware, and viruses? I also need to know about firewalls that are available out there too....Thanks! BTW, I don't want Norton, so don't suggest that please!
