how can i delete 34711 at once my computer was off for about 1 month and received this much e mail?

Left click on the first email, this will highlight it. Then scroll down to the last one and while holding your 'Shift" keyboard key down, left click on it as well. This will highlight all of your emails. Then just press delete or to permanently delete them, press Shift and Delete keys together. They will all be gone,
