My avg virus scan picked up some trojan horse downloaders and an unistal exe. trojan, it says it has deleted them and they are showing up in my virus vault, are they really gone? Will they come back?

I've heard not all trojans are malicious, that some just record your info. is this true?

this is something that I have been wondering about for a while... how do you get onto sites such as myspace or other personal's sites when the url is blocked.... any good sites that let you get past the fire wall, or is there a way to unblock them?

l am running blueyonder full comp protection also avg free virus/spyware. avg is picking up "unknown virus exploit wmf ,which is in the vault . has anyone else heard of it and if yes how do l remove it? blueyonder didnt see it? am not a computer wiz so straight forward answers please.

Has anyone out recieved junk? mail from what appears to be financial stockmarket tipping concern. They all begin with a tip on a share price increase and then go on to add a long paragraph of totally meaningless blurb. I've had scores of them and everyone seems to come from a different domain. Any Ideas on how to block them.

Can I restrict access to a chat room my pre-teen kids are using? I have shut them down to limited accounts but where do I stop them getting on to a certain website and still allow them administrator priviledges (for the useful stuff they do online)? They are young enough that ''"It's not working at that site anymore '' will suffice, please help!!!!

Things keep flashing when I type and today a porn site popped up on the screen after i signed out of Yahoo. now, whenever i get on the internet the computer tells me there has been an error and that windows needs to shut down.
