Aside from the cookies, what else needs to be deleted to clean-up your pc? And how often should you do that??
Thank you!

In your Internet Explorer, go to "Tools" and click on it.

In the drop down menu, go to "Internet Options" and click on it.

In the panel that opens, click on the button "Delete Cookies", then on the button "Delete Files" which is next to it. In the smaller panel that pops up when you click on "Delete Files" click a tick into the empty box next to "Delete all offline content" and then click on "OK".

Scroll down to the bottom of the panel and click on "Delete History"

Then go to the buttons below and click on "Apply" and "OK".

This will get rid of all the junk on your system.

Do this regularly every once in two days.

If you can't find the Internet Options through your Internet Explorer, then go to Start, then Control Panel, and there, click on Network and Internet Connections and you'll find it there.

Merry Christmas!!!!

In Internet Explorer, click Tools in the menu bar and then Internet Options. In the General tab, click Delete cookies. You should also delete the Temporary Internet Files and clear the website history or set it to 0 days. The process is relatively the same for Firefox if you use that, but I don't know the exact process for it since I don't have Firefox on this computer. I do this process daily, but every couple of days should be okay too.

Also if you are concerned with security/privacy and the well being of your computer, download good virus scanning and anti-spyware software. Run scans daily, every couple of days or weekly depending on how often you access the internet, and update the definitions weekly.

Anti-Spyware:
Spyware Blaster
Ad Aware
Spybot Search & Destroy
Microsoft Defender

Anti-Virus:

On Internet Explorer click on "Tools", then select "Internet Options", then you should see the contents of the "General tab", ok, now click the button where it reads: Delete Cookies... You could also want to delete "History" which stores the past viewed webpages, The "Temporary Internet Files" and all the "Offline Contents"... All that you can manage by browsing the options of the "Tools" menu in Internet Explorer. Regards, Gabriel.
