I have AVG free edition it caught the Trogens and took them to the Virus Vault, but I don't know what to do now.

note down the name of the trojan, do a google search to obtain manual removal instructions.
After that you will have to follow the following steps
-disable system restore
-boot in safe mode
-delete the trojan's keys from registry
-delete its files from hard disk
-run a full scan on AVG and delete any remaining files
-restart computer normally
-enable system restore again

It is safe 99% of the time to just delete them. I would keep them in there for a week or so just to be sure they aren't files needed by some critical application you have.

Empty the vault, or delete them. It does not put them back into your computer, it removes them completely.

If you dont need the files it is better to delete. If you dont want to delete AVG will quarantine the files for you after which they should not give you any trouble.
