I have 4 computers and last year i experienced problems with norton antivirus 2006 during the 4th installation , it said that i need to get a new activation key cause i reached the limit .Now i wonder what's the limit of installations of norton antivirus 2007?

I have just upgraded all my pcs to we7. On one pc, i cant get it to work. It seems to "hang" trying to open the yahoo home page. I am all connected up (a "ping" to yahoo gets returned with all data). Does anyone have any ideas?

i installed a game on my comp, and it came with soft ware that blocks me from searching the internet for a no cd crack or key generator. i dont know where the software wnet, did it go into my registery? exapmle, i looked up csi...works fine... i put in csi key generators, and it takes me to web sites that talk about power generators....and i noticed that next to the web site in the address bar that the msn butterfly comes up...does that make any sence? i did adaware check and virus checks, nothing finds it. everything works fine, just cant look up no cd or key generators....help?

The choice is CompTIA Security+ or ISC2 SSCP.

I have a background in network and storage security and feel it is time to get a qualification.

I would like to pursue CISSP, but do not have the experience at this point!

Basically which of SSCP or Security+ is better regarded? Or is there value in doing one then the other?

Would anyone recomend any study materials in support of the above?

My PC has been infected with a Malware...

I saw that you can use Microsoft's EFS encryption but it said files would be decrypted if moved off the drive. I am looking for a solution that will protect the drive if someone tries to mount it on another machine. Thanks!

My computer cant seem to be installing updates anymore...everytime i try, it is unsucessful and the yellow icon keeps coming up on my computer asking me to install. Please help cos i know that it is affecting my computer by making it more vulnerable. Thx for ur anticiped help

When I am connected to the internet, every ten minutes or so, a "flurry" of messages pops up, saying that they have scanned and blocked an email, in such numbers that I have to disconnect from the internet just to take time to close them all. They are from our security software, I think- Symantic, I think? It does not seem to matter what website or program I'm running at the time.
Also, I don't know if this is related or not, but about three days ago, my homepage switched to Google and would not switch back to yahoo, even when I reset in in "internet options".
Has anyone ever had any similar experience, and if so, what did you do to fix it? Please, I'm DESPERATE.
(No new programs or websites have been accessed recently to my knowledge.)

my internet explorer keeps shutting down on me in the middle of doing something and something is keeping me from changing my home page back to what i want, not what this virus has changed it to....coolpics.com. i've tried norton, adware, etc. but someone told me it was a zlob virus and i cant find a free one that will work yet and i'm not in the position to be able to pay for one. Is this spam or is it for real. It scanned my system and found like 211 errors or something. I have Mcfee and this is not a Mcfee thing. Should I purchase it or what? I know my virus scan thing is still updated, but my computer does freeze up and is slow sometimes. So maybe I should buy it? Have you ever heard of that product------ "Registry Cleaner?"
