i have just installed the trial of bullgaurd anti-virus/anti-spyware/firewall and up to now i have found it quite good,very user friendly
has anyone else used it and if so what are your opinions on the program,is it worth buying the full version or should i go for the free alternative?
i was previously using avast 4.7

my computer says that i have a trojan adware and i dont have a restore disk for windows so i dont want to reformat. is there a way i can scan the adware and delete it for free. so i dont have to pay anything at all.

i had an email today which at first appeared to be from service@paypal telling me that they think i have had a non authorised payment but they have put a hold on it until i can check it is ok, it asked me to click on the link to take me straight to paypal and when i did my antivirus stopped loads of virus from doing any harm, however it has not been able to remove the virus just quarantine it. i tried to report it to paypal but they want the original email but i deleted it when i realised what it was. is there any way to get back deleted emails or are they gone for good

Okay here is the details, i use Yahoo and like the chat rooms but i am behind a fire wall and it will not either my computer or the norton i use allow me to chat on a chat room via messanger because it always says i am behind a fire wall, okay if i poke a hole in the fire wall then something harmfull can get through, what do i do to enjoy my web cam in a chat room without damaging my firewall or computer and still get to use my web cam and be exact in details as i am very new at computers so go STEP BY STEP thanks.

Ok, so I got a new laptop for Christmas and I'm trying to get on aim but it keeps saying that y pop up blocker is enabled but it isn't! I turned the pop up blocker off but it just won't let me get on it...I don't know why...Any computer people out there who wanna answer my question???

Just in case.....but if I delete them, does that mean that I can't go on certain websites, such as eBay, and will I be able to get them back?

Also, even when I go to Clear Private Data>Clear cookies, I still see tracking cookies appar. Thank you for your time!

it makes a file autorun.inf in each and every logical drive and is not visible even if the "Show hidden folders" is ticked. But it can be accessed through dos. Due to it if i double click on a drive it asks me that " Through which application do i want to open that drive"

i recently downloaded a file from a guy on ebay and since then i am getting annoying pop up`s / advertisment`s , i have ntl net guard / yahoo antispy / ntl fire wall / ntl pop up blocker . all scans are coming back clear and virus free and i scan every day but these advertisements are still getting through , and it has only happend since i downloaded this file !
Many thanks in advance for any help you can give me .
P.S if i need download stuff to get rid of it i would prefer free site`s ( xmas has tottaly wiped me out ) many many thanks xxxx

I can't change my Homepage. Last week my PC infected by Viruses & Trojans. Now I remove them but My homepage has chnged. It's open as Adultfindfinder instaed of mail.yahoo.com. how can i change? I try to chage Via Internet properties but they didn't working. I also went to yahoo.com to set the Homepage but not working. Pls help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111

This program keeps on changing my status to links and messages to coolpic sites (which I have never dared to connect to), which is annoying for both parties chatting and seems to infect my correspondents' computers as well. A pest really.
Does somebody knows how to get rid of it?
