If you sure your computer is having virus, you can try to use anti-virus programs to get rid of it. Now there are so many anti-virus softwares available, ( free & not free), and each website and each person have different view on those products, someone felt this anti-virus software is good doesn't means it will also be good on your machine. My advice is that almost every popular anti-virus software give you a trail period, some for 90 days, some for 60 days, some for even whole year, you can try those TOP RATING softwares, once you install one, then scan your computer, see if it catches your virus. (again, here you are sure your computer is having virus, right?) if it doesn't catch anything, well, maybe try another one!, you will get one that really help. and once more, an anti-spyware software should also be installed. there are also a lot of top rating anti-spyware softwares.

You need to get rid of malware before you worry about a new programme, because it may end up being turned off by a file on your machine anyway. So you go online for a free scan and virus removal.

THEN, when your machine is disinfected, install a proper antivirus programme, such as AntiVir.

And a good spyware programme, such as Spybot S&D, and keep them both updated properly.
