switch to the old yahoo mail, and then delete your unwanted messages from there. That's something i don't like about the new yahoo mail beta, because you can't delete spam without opening them, which may give your computer viruses

if it's in your Yahoo! Mail, then check the box next to it and click the delet button at the top of the incoming mail box, this will delete the mail without opening it and if you want to stop future mail, select 'spam' instead!

Not sure which email server you are using but most provide little check boxes beside each email in the list and if you check them and then click delete checked you don't have to open them first.

It depends on the e-mail address u have. I have yahoo, and all I do is click on the white box and then click the delete button. Simple.

Well,when you check your mail,and you see the mail that you don't want to open,click on the little box beside it.When you have clicked it,you'll see a green tick in the box.Then,you look above the mails,and you see the word delete.Click it.

Use Mailwasher software - it allows you to delete mail directly from the server without needing to download them to your pc.
