Can anyone give me a good program to run that will get rid of all viruses? Is there any certain keys in my registry that i can delete that may belong to bad spyware or viruses? Popups with my bowser closed is the problem i suffer from. They take over my desktop.

Why would virus scanning be temporarily turned off. I waited a day and it's still turned off. Why is this? Is this a problem with yahoo mail or something else.

My start up programs keep disappearing. Programs like Google Talk, Skype, etc. I keep adding them and they keep disappearing from the list. Have a look at this screenshot. http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/655/prbvx2.gif . The list is supposed to be full of programs. Programs like skype, google talk, firewall, touchpad driver, daemon tools, etc. I add them again and restart my computer, and the programs start but they disappear from the list again. What can be causing this? I scanned my computer with Spyware Doctor and Kaspersky antivirus but didnt find anything. :(

hey I thinking I'd like to present a wpa-cracking session for a school presentation, possibly even bringing an actual demo...I've done some research on the subject and am aware that the mode of operation is to bruteforce the EAPOL packets. now also looking into tools like aircrack/snort and wpa cracker...any more information will be appreciated!!!

Someone keeps hacking into my myspace account and writes bullentins regarding that I joined a dating site. I never joined this dating site. This has happened about three times to me already and it is extremely annoying. What can I do about this? How can I prevent this from happening? Also, is it possible to find out who is doing this to me?

i've already allowed gnutella in windows, so it's allowed by my firewall. I've even tried turning off my norton fire wall, but it hasn't helped. any suggestions?

I went to the store earlier adn left my computer running, when I got home I saw that somehow 'mirar' was downloaded on my computer. No one was home at the time. I guess i removed all of it but my computer is still acting weird. [slow, laggy, closing windows i open]
My current virus program AVG, isn't detecting anything, but on StopSign [some commercial ad that provides a free scan] shows all other types of things.
I strongly dislike Norton aswell as McAfee and I don't want a trial version.
What is a reliable anti-virus program that is free?
Help would be appreciated.

I always do daily antispy scans but Windows Defender BETA, Ad-Aware, and Spybot-Search and Destroy never EVER detect 180Solutions.Zango, but Yahoo! Antispy does. I really hate it and I really want to get rid of it and make it stop bugging my computer so much. What should I do to permanently remove this annoying piece of adware, once and for all?

installed new hard drive on machine that had Norton running on Windows 2000. Restore disk has Windows Me. Norton 2006 would not load on Me. Have 6 months left on Norton subscription.
