In my spare time I test antivirus/antispyware programs to see if they perform as claimed. An also to see if there are any hidden embedded trojans in their programs or in the wizard installer used to guide you through the installation.

I have to antispyware programs in my primary pc. http://www.ewido.net and http://www.emsisoft.com

Plus I use an excellent free program that protects you from what is known as "zero day attacks". Virus or spyware attacks that come out before any security company is aware of the new malware. This program also found adware in superantispyware. You can download this program as it is free.

http://www.cyberhawk.com

Both of these antispyware programs found embedded adware in superantispyware. This is not good, becasue superantispyware really would be an excellent antispyware program as it finds spyware usually missed by others. (Don't like the idea that it has embedded adware that is not listed in their "EULA", Lic. agreement you agree to.

Alot of the free programs like the two links I have given you are free of any malware. And then you have free programs that are loaded with trojans or adware.

A tracking cookie is a cookie that retains the data of what sites you have visited. Plus it can contain personal data. You want to get rid of them There are good cookies, like when youe IE, or MSN, you get a cookie so that if you go back to open their page it will load quicker with the cookie. So you have good cookies and bad cookies.

I use a free tool to clean out all cookies. http://www.ccleaner.com Crap Cleaner comes in multi-languages an also updates frequent. Plus you can keep their default cleaning, or you have the object to check off what you want cleaned out of your system.

Give up using Windows, and install Linux on your computer. Linux is immune to all viruses, malware, spyware and adware.

Go to www.distrowatch.com to find out how to get all the popular flavors of Linux...

...then do an image search for Linux screen grabs on Google.

u probably pick up a tracking cookie from almost every website you visit ... try adaware to ... it wont hurt to have multiple syware removal apps ... just nuke anything they find unless u use certain filesharing apps that detect as trojans ... cookies just delete um
