Check your tool bar . There should be a pop up blocker. Enable it and it should take care of your problem.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

If you are running Windows XP you need to keep it up to date via their update site. Sign up and allow automatic updates of XP. You will need to access Microsoft using Internet Explorer v5 or above. Microsoft does not allow you to download there updates etc. if you are using Firefox to access their site.

For a really good antivirus program go to
http://www.grisoft.com or go to
http://www.download.com
search for, download, and install AVG Antivirus

A decent pop-up blocker is located on the Yahoo tool bar. If you have no other Spy Ware software, download the Yahoo toolbar and install it.

Hope this helps you.

There are hundreds of programs out there that will claim to scan your computer for free, (and they do just that) but they say, "we found stuff, pay us and we'll get rid of it." Lavasoft's Ad-Aware is, by far, the best program to get rid of ad-aware that causes popups. It's simple and easy to use. Download it from:

http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5

Install it, update it, and run it. After it's done, run again. Restart your computer and run again. Give no mercy for Ad-Aware.

Also, you may need a virus protection program. Unfortunately, the good ones don't really come in the 'free' variety.

If you have XP, simply turn on your blocker; it is built in!

For virus scanners, I suggest AVG and AVAST. LIMIT 1 to a machine. These are BOTH free for "home" use.
I use both, but I have several machines!

You have a lot of spyware on your computer. I recommend you download superantispyware. Update it ...do a scan..It is very effective and it is FREE.
