My Antivirus is up to date and the virus comes back everytime I sign in to my messenger

She owns the computer and I have a seperate account as an user with administrative privelges-How do I make sure that the sites I visit, the pics I download are not traced bt her. What directories ont he computer do I have to check? Can she set up in such a way that when I am typing something in Buffalo NY, her brother can track what I do from Illinois or another friend of hers in New Jersey?

my friend has website and said that software is security is good but to get a hardwire router so i get less errors and better security
I mean a router not used for wireless network woman from microsoft said she does too

I work at a small office and I have been allowed to access my personal email (password protected) and also a sub account under the office email system (password protected) in which I receive email from my family and friends. I have also been allowed to store personal documents on my computer which are password protected (i.e my daughters resume or a letter to my doctor or even a letter of annoyance to my husband) and personal pictures. There is no "office policy" regarding privacy issues at the office. There was no restriction as to what I could use the computer for. I just found out that he is using a virtual screen shot program and/or a keylogger program to monitor the computers. If I knew that this was something that he would ever use I would never access my personal email and definitely would never store personal documents and pictures on the computer at work!! I am annoyed and bitter over this. I feel like my personal life has been violated. What do you think?

I find that occassionally my AV places malware in the quarantined area. Are they a threat when quarantined? What do I do with them?

Is Altris Client a good one to have? I just want to monitor what they are doing, and keep them out of trouble, but not turn on security to where they cant go anywhere i want to know if they try going to bad websites...Please let me know of some good software.

I have zone alarm security suite and am reasonably happy with it. I am pretty good at configuring it now for use with my kids games.Warcraft etc need ports open and some constant tweaking seems needed, esp for hosting. My subscription to Zone alarm is about to end and I do not really want to learn a new program. It has been recommended that I ditch it and use a combo of free software [Zone alarm free firewall, spybot, AVG, adaware] which I would readily do but I fear that there will be far less configuration allowed with Zone alarm free and therefore game play will be badly affected.

Everytime I go on the net, Norton Internet Security detects and blocks an intrusion attempt. The intruder is identified (specifically: "172.19.103.3"). I do not wish to go to the site as I am afraid that by simply doing so may do additional harm to my PC. I understand that I am protected as it is now. But I want to finally and completely stop this intrusion attempts. Thanks for your help.

my spy sweeper expired 3 years ago and still finds spyware even if i cant update. but my question is can i still have spy sweeper on the computer and scan. because of the fact it still has the shilds up and still finds spyware. and has the protection to keep my broswer in tact.

I just got Norton and installed it...It was supposed to stop the pop-ups and spyware, viruses, all of it but I keep getting system alerts saying that I have this stuff on my computer n then i scan and it finds nothing, and when I click on the bubble from the security alert it just sends me to a site wanting me to buy thier products...and the whole time Im getting pop-ups...How can I stop these with out paying more...PLEASE HELP!!!
