Security - August 2006

I need to get in to an family member e-mail and computer. Is there any software that will tell me there password or how can i go about this. The person computer that I am trying to get into is really in troble and me and my family need this information it is vital, we not just snopping.

My spyware cleaner can not find them and ironically, the two programs, are "advertisements" for anti-spyware programs. It redirects my initial open on internet explorer to some security website even though i have my default home page for msn.com. They open up on my startup, which ive tried to find them there, but they aren't there. Someone help please, i need free and easy and quick.

Do you know how to set my system to block popups? I went into internet options, security, but can't find the feature (I had it before and turned it off temporarily - now can't turn it back on!).

This site makes it's money putting spyware on your computer, True you have to agree to this before entering Kazaa but many kids do not read it because it's so long & do not realise it will totally screw your computer up (or the school computer).

As much as I know there should be only one svchost in taskmanager. I got 8:
5 - SYSTEM
2 - NETWORK SERVICE
1 - LOCAL SERVICE

I scaned my PC using ZoneAlarm Pro, Spyware Doctor and there is no any virus or spyware.

Hi!When I run a Norton Anti Virus 2006 scan for my MP3 Floders (about 250 mp3 are included)--Norton shows TOTAL NO OF FILES Scanned: 0,(Shouldn't it read TOTAL NO OF FILES Scanned :250,.........Virus Detected:0 etc.Problem is why doesn't Norton Show No of Files scanned as 250 (the actual).For Other Folders like my word documents etc it show the correct no of files it has scanned in the concerned folder.
