Use bitdefender to scan and remove existing virus and then one of the others for permanent protection.

Free Anti-Virus Programs:

AVG has a good personal use Anti-Virus product available at: http://free.grisoft.com

Avast Antivirus, also for non-commercial use is available at: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html

Avira AntiVir Personal Edition is also available for download at http://www.free-av.com , I have not used this a lot and would welcome other comments on it.

The above products include active background scanning modules!

Bitdefender has an excellent scanner and removal tool but does not have any active background protection in the free version that is available at: http://www.bitdefender.com/site/Main/view/Download-Free-Products.html

Symantec (Norton) also has a free virus scanner. I think the problem here, however, is that you also have no protection. Break into your piggy bank and go buy an anti-virus program - those that surf without make it worse for everyone else.

I think you should run your antivirus (if u have) or install an Antivirus like:
AVG ( http://free.grisoft.com )
or
AVAST ( http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html )
it's free & good one.

Even if you don't have an e-mail address or credit card... you must have alteast of Antivirus which will protect ur data from Virus.
Remember virus can damage ur impor data as well as can crash ur computer.
