Forgot password !!!?

I just came back on holidays and i forgot my password (windows xp) its the one that show up so i can logg onto my computer

as you are booting up your computer, hold down the f8 key, or it might be the delete key depending on your system. That should take you to the set up menus where you can get rid of the password or change it. (I have xp and tab during boot lets me see the boot progress, delete gives me the start up menus and f8 gives me boot options. Since I built my system, it may not be exactally like yours, but the delete key should do it for you.)

Have you created a user and forgot the password of that user or you have created a password for the administrator itself and forgot. If you have forgotten the password for the user you have created then simply login through administrator and change the password for the user. In case you have forgotton password for the administrator but have an user with full powers of administrator then also you can login with that user and change the password of the administrator. If you have not created any user with full powers and have forgotten your administrator password then boot through floppy / cd and backup all your data to another partition of the harddisk and format C drive and re-install windows XP.

there is you name and another administrator name. when you choose you name get on the other acount and go to control panel and user acounts then delete password.
