Every time I run my Ad-Aware program, it pops up with a message after the scan saying it can't remove a particular thing. I searched it, and it's called Spooler SubSystem App. I read that it's for printers, but I don't have one hooked up yo my computer. It's rather annoying.

This came up on my screen last night prior to the pc fully shutting down. Is this integral to the operation of the pc? If its not, how do I disable it?
Be specific please.

Need specific details as a friend has told me, "Never troubleshoot your own computer". In this case I must. A techie costs too much.

My home page will not allow me to change...It is permanently stuck on Yahoo.I have read other questions on Yahoo Answers with this problem..It has suggested this is beacuse of hijacking and to use spyware regularly...I have Windows Defender.adware se.... ccleaner. and anti virus...I update these all the time.I am new to computers and my computer was sluggish to say the least...I took advice from answers and also installed a reg cleaner. My thanks to all yahoo answers for this advice. My computer is now running to perfection except for the fact I cannot change my home page. What exactly does being hijacked mean ?...is it serious ?.
Can you make all answers as simple as possible please I am still
in the very early learning stage...I can follow instructions if they are clear...Thank you very much. PS I know how to change my home page via tools on explorer..it just takes no notice of me.

"C:\WINDOWS\bxxs5.dll could not be found". Them when I use the Internet, I get this stupid message from a company called Win(something , yeah I forgot) that wants me to download something. It says my computer may be infected with spyware or "malicious software". Now I understand that bxxs5 is spyware. (Or so I heard). What can I do to get rid of this crap. It's driving me nuts!!!

The help says that with AOL I may have to configure. I have wireless Cable through a router and have no idea how to configure. The directions with norton is very vague. Could it be a firewall? I just don't understand what is going on.
