The best thing to do is to prevent it from happening. Get the free version of the Firewall, called ZoneAlarm. It's at www.zonelabs.com I've used it for years, no problems, and thousands of tries. They let you know how many companies or individuals actually tried. Granted, most are from telemarketers, but it's nice to know that noone can hack in. You do have to keep it updated weekly though, or it is worthless. Good luck. Ron

If you have windows xp set up the firewall. To maintain a PC in tip top condition do what I do .... I use PC registry checker and spyware. the firewall is xp and your data will be safe and the pc run like an express train!

Hi, you can try firefox browser.

firefox can fix the homepage hijacked.

it can block any annoying popup ads. it can prevent most of the virus in the webpage, as you know, most of the virus is spread through internet.
