In my Inbox today there was a message claiming to be from Yahoo! Answers.
It said: "You have a new answer to your question." When I clicked on this email to open it, Spyware Doctor sent me a message saying it (SD) had stopped me from visiting a potentially harmful site (or something like that).
I don't want to try again to open this email, in case it is a fake. Has anyone else had this kind of experience with Yahoo! Answers/Spyware Doctor, or with other security programmes?

I was looking at this on the internet:

http://www.rotteneggs.com/r3/show/se/174617.html

Is it possible for this to work? Is this safe to do this or is some kind of virus? Would it be possible for someone to try this? I have no idea what will happen if i try it (I dont wanna break my computer.) :P

Once again the hacker has set up herself as Administrator on my computer under the name of NTuser, how can I negate this breach of privacy and restore it to myself?
The NT stands for New Testament, what a joke.

find out if my norton anti virus is running, i did purchase it when i bought my computer but i just have this feeling that my boyfriend was messing around on the computer and might have turned it off, so what do i do to find out if i am being protected? P.S. The reason i dont feel protected is because as soon as i turn on the computer i get spy alerts.

This problem will occur when A) you visit a site for game cracks or B) you have clicked a pop up requiring you to install somthing. The pop-up that is you are experencing is spyware installed straight to your computer. The way to remove this problem is:

1) Run Numerous Ad-Aware SE (or what ever version you have) checks untill you have stoped that unwanted pop-up in your right hand screen poping up.

2) once done 3-4 times run norton antivirus

3)This is the final step if norton dose not show with any thing run HIJACK THIS it will find the remaining problem and then you have uninstalled the newsance finally.

PS: do not install the program it tells you to, it contains a Trojan and a Worm virus.

Thanks

I have an HP with Windows XP-Home. After I use HP System Recovery, my computer is forced to re-recognize all of its installed hardware and reinstall it as soon as I start my computer up for the "first time". Unfortunately, afterward I am always bugged by Windows Logo Testing, even if the hardware/software has already passed this testing for production. The only real problem is when Windows tell me that I "Can not install this software because it hasn't passed testing". It's my computer, I'm installing the software because I trust it and I want to, and it's none of Microsoft's business. How do I stop this foolishness?
