My mum has blocked tones of web sites. But i love these websites. I used to use www.proxism.com but now thats blocked. Shes blocked
www.msn.com
www.netdisaster.com
and loads others
please help

I cant believe MSN is blocked, but maybe she doesn't want you installing any software from them she can't approve first.
The main reason for blocking web sites is to prevent the download of Malware. That's any software that could harm or DESTROY your computer.
No you don't have to ask for the software, just visiting the website will allow them to download it WITHOUT your knowing about it.
A lot of those Malware sites are porn, but MANY are also game, free smiles, screen-savers, and sites like those that offer you eye-candy. (Would you take candy from a stranger in the park? I hope not!) It's not easy but you need to learn which sites are safe.
I could tell you how to unblock them but for your own safety, and because your Mom has them blocked, I won't.

I know how, but I wouldn't feel right about telling you how to unblock them. If I were you, I'd try to talk to her and establish trust between the two of you, whereby you assure her you're not doing anything you shouldn't be on these sites, and she unblocks (some of) them for you. I have done plenty of blocking of sites myself for parents who needed to block sites they didn't want their kids accessing (and it was always with good reason). There is a lot of danger on the internet, and a lot of kids don't have the maturity yet to deal with it, even tho' they think they do, and they don't even see the danger in many cases.

Most people use VPN connections to unblock websites, is good to access blocked sites such as the BBC iPlayer outside of the UK and Hulu out of USA. Also gives anonymous browsing as well which is good when at work I guess.

When you grow-up and buy your own computer, with your own money. It will then be your own computer. which you can do as you please with. Children have no right of ownership until they are 18 years of age. Until then it is still her computer and she can do what she damn well pleases with it!
