Go to Start Menu, then click on RUN. Type regedit in the box and hit enter.
Its your registry keys.
What are you trying to change? Regedit is a command that will bring up your registry keys that you can modify and change the values to. However, modifying the wrong keys will damage your computer system since your computer reads its registry keys when it boots up and its basically a bunch of codes that Windows understands to make certain keys on your keyboard and certain programs in your computer work correctly.
If you edit the wrong one or delete things you shouldnt delete, you can mess up your computer.
If the option above for regedit doesnt work for you then you must not have Windows XP or Windows 2000/NT. You can contact me and let me know what Windows version you have.

Dude. Not for nothing, but if you don't know how to run regedit, shelling out the extra couple bucks for a techie is probably a good idea.

If you can't figure out where regedit is, you really should NOT be mucking around in there.
But if you must, Start > Run...
and type "regedit" in the dialog box that pops up.

To be honest, if you don't know how you shouldn't.
Here's the answer:
Click on the Start Button, click on run, type regedit, hit enter.
Registry editing is very difficult to do correctly. It would be easy to really mess something up. Don't do it.

yea, start > Run > type regedit and then enter. But dont just start messing with the rgistry, it can mess your computer up AND it is huge, if you change something and dont know what youre doing you may permanently mess your computer up and have to reformat.
