You have spyware... get your machine to a tech, you may also consider switching to mozilla for your browser

If you have popups and ads happening when you're not on the internet (but connected to it), then you have adware or a trojan in your system.

Get a good spyware removal program (I recommend Spy Sweeper and Ad Aware) to get rid of it, then make sure that you have a good fire wall. I recommend Zone Alarm Pro. A router connected to your modem wouldn't hurt, either.

Lots of this stuff is 'drive by downloads'- when you go to sites, it jumps into your computer without your permission, or it tricks you into clicking on it, which loads it into your system. A good firewall and spyware detecting software will keep this crap off your system.

1. Get mozilla.
2. Get Yahoo! toolbar because it blocks pop ups (google also has the same pop up blocker, but Yahoo has a free spyware scaner included.)
3. Go to www.download.com and there are some really good free pop up blockers that actually work.

If this doesnt work, bring your comp in to get it fixed cuase u might got a major adaware or spyware problem.

Pop ups are so annoying, i totally understand where you're coming from.

Good luck.

The ISP doesn't want popups. That's why they have anti popup software.Internet hackers are so powerful that they blast right through this anti popup program! These popups go right in to your CPU.The CPU has to be protected with the firewall. In order for me to operate my computer or to be on the Internet I need to have a screen name and password. How do these hackers enter my computer without a screen name and password?

hmmm, That is serious issue for you.

I think you don't have much knowledge about the spyware and adware. Remember, there are numbers of thousands spyware and adware programs that are infecting innocent Internet users such as yourself through downloadable games, music, screensavers, pictures, pop-ups, and the list goes on and on. Spyware and Adware can cause your PC to run extremely slow and even crash, and allow hackers and advertising companies to invade your privacy whenever they wish.

You can email me right now with detail of your problem, to get complete solution for your issue.

bye.
