Any one hS Hs pr seen or knows about spyware called pgnew? It is very desructive. Where does it come from. How to get rid off it.? Adaware did not do it.

msmsgs.exe keeps coming back to life within my windows task manager. i choose to end this process because i notice that my web browsers slow and it appears that msmsgs.exe is partly the reason for this. i use spyware (spybot, adaware, spywareblaster, hijackthis) and anitvirus removers daily. I keep up with windows updates, macromedia and adobe updates. i defragment my computer, clear the cache and remove temporary files. yet my browsers still runs slow from time to time regardless. i should have no viruses, trojans or spyware. how do i remove msmsgs.exe from continually appearing? what other information can you provide?

Man i'm not going to Y! Chat anymore. So, this is what happened.

Alright, i got my new headsetm so I went to my fav chatroom and chatted (as usual) and i got into a conversation with my friend. someone then (I don't know who he is) talked to me in public and he left then suddenly, windows of IMs popped up from a bot!! HELP! I can't click the ignore button cos the window was multiplying fast. I then groped for the reset button and resetted my computer.

I scanned for Spyware Tracking cookies and viruses with McAfee after that incident. Chatrooms are banned for me now. I am now chatting with people i know. PLease help!!?? I hate bots badly!!

One of my neighbors thinks that her email to others is secure. I have heard that some companies capture all email and then sell the information. She thinks I am nuts.

Ok ive done some tests and i have 4 viruses, heres what they are.
-The Trj/Downloader.WI Virus was found in file C:\counter.cab
-The Trj/Downloader.WI Virus was found in file C:\counter.cab
-The Trj/Downloader.AEE Virus was found in file C:\counter.cab
-The W32/Sdbot.ftp.worm Virus was found in file C:\WINDOWS\system32\oo

How do i get rid of them, becuase norton can't (and if possible i want to get rid of them for free)

It's a virus that if you open the email, it erases everything on your PC, and the hacker has excess to your name, password, and email. Isn't that freaky?

If I connect my laptop on my internet connection VIA wireless, and my desktop computer is connected in the internet connection too but not VIA wireless, can it transfer viruses and spywares from its system to my laptop? The desktop is not really mine , its my parents and they are not updating there computer frequently and my guess is that it has a virus. Will it infect my computer if I connect my laptop on their connection wirelessly?

If it says something like Firefox is attempting to connect I allow. But sometimes I get messages like 409.233.234.98 is trying to connect to the internet on port 1026. Or 123.446.137.88 is trying to access your computer on port 0. What does all that mean and how should I know whether to connect or not. I tried just blocking everything I didn't recognize but then I couldn't connect to my radio stations for a long time. Advice please.

I know what this sounds like, but it is for a good reason. I have a friend whose baby's mother is a very poor example of a mother. He wants to get custody of the children for one and he also needs proof of her infidelity for divorce court. If he could have a look at her email, that could possibly give him some material to work with. Please these are serious matters, so only serious answers please.

and all else appears normally...on the lower right of the screen are such items as my anti virus icons, the time, clock....etc, etc, etc,
but after about ten minutes..everything disappears...the Start button at th bottm left side of the screen disappears along with all other icons on the lower right? Have I encourtered a hijack....a virus....in order to find some things again, I have to got ctrl/alt/delete and find my task manager and get back into things.
what is wrong????????????????????

when I started to sign into my yahoo email the sign in screen had a screen name I did not know and it said why am I being asked for my password? It was not my screen name. I live alone and I was wondering if there was another way for that screen name to be on my sign in screen? Can anyone help me with this? I was freakin out because as far as I know if someone just used the same computer you are using and the last person's screen name wiil show up at the sign in screen on that computer when you get ready to sign in .
