Man i'm not going to Y! Chat anymore. So, this is what happened.
Alright, i got my new headsetm so I went to my fav chatroom and chatted (as usual) and i got into a conversation with my friend. someone then (I don't know who he is) talked to me in public and he left then suddenly, windows of IMs popped up from a bot!! HELP! I can't click the ignore button cos the window was multiplying fast. I then groped for the reset button and resetted my computer.
I scanned for Spyware Tracking cookies and viruses with McAfee after that incident. Chatrooms are banned for me now. I am now chatting with people i know. PLease help!!?? I hate bots badly!!

that was not anything to worry about. there are several programs available that can enable someone to do that. it wasn't a bot, it was someone in the room (a jerk obviously). if you rememberd the screen name put it on ignore. that kind of thing has been happening in chatrooms for years. i know it sucks that folks have nothing better to do.

It's pretty simple dude, as their are booters which make your life iritating. At the same time their are anti-booters which make it a hell lot easier.
Download one from darkyahoo.com but beware the site might contain some porn.

the bots are insidious.. you cannot avoid them.. they are like the fookin Borg - you will be assimiliated..
however a good spam blocker can help a bit..

change your prefereces to not allow people to contact you that are not on your messenger list
open IM go to prefereces, ignore, an select " ignore any one not on my messenger list" then i would close the im and restart it..
