One of my neighbors thinks that her email to others is secure. I have heard that some companies capture all email and then sell the information. She thinks I am nuts.

The content of email is only as secure as your connection to the server. Anything that snoops between you and it could copy the message.

Finding someone's email address, if that is what you means, is only as easy as they want it to be for you, like advertising it places.

Some companies will sell your email address to other companies for marketing mails...

Finding s'one e-mail is either as simple as asking or as difficult as 2 breaking in 2 Buckingham palace, no.10 or the white house!!! lol -)) It also depends if u know the details of that person in full or partially. Anyone can find John Smith but can u find the John Smith u want by just the name??? Only if there's only 1 in the world!!!
