I suggest talking to him about it first. He might feel very violated if you go behind his back and try to block him from it. Especially if he's one of the many that uses myspace responsibly. I use myspace everyday, and personally, I ONLY use it to keep in touch with friends and family. No strangers. But if you believe he might be endangering himself in anyway and will not understand your concerns, you can try. I'm not sure exactly how to do it, but try opening an internet browser. From there click on "Tools" in the top left. They choose the last option, "Internet Options." When that window opens, choose the "Privacy" tab and then click on the "Sites" button. You can add myspace.com to that list, and in so, it will not be able to use "cookies" on your computer. Maybe that will not allow the page to load.

But please, by all means, talk to him about it first. Let him know of your concerns and try to get him to work with you. Maybe he will understand and shut down his profile all by himself. But like I said, he very well may be one of the many many users that uses myspace responsibly. So respect his choices and don't get too over-protective or he might turn away and use a different online site that might end up being even more dangerous.

Good luck!

-Right click on internet explorer icon...click "properties"
-click the "Privacy" tab
-click "sites"
-it will prompt you to enter the name of the website. This should work. It may allow him to view the site but not log in, which should accomplish what you're looking for.

Only catch is, if he's good with computers he might be able to remove the block. Unless you have administrative priveledges and he does not.
