Ran virus scan .Resulting window just shows the 4 viruses with no buttons to push to isolate or remove the viruses.

download avg antivirus free edition, from download.com. Install it, update it, immunize and the close it, open it again and scan your computer, if it won't get rid of them, it wil at least quarantine them

you might have to go out a buy a differnet anti virus program Mcafee is really good at finding viruses and removing them off your computer or you can go and reinstall your windows program but if you do make sure that you format your c: drive to remove the viruses off computer

Are you using a free virus detection program? Maybe your virus protection program only detects virus but doesn't eliminate them for you. I have problems with this on spyware programs...all they do is search and locate but not eliminate. They'll do the eliminating unless I pay for the fee.
